Terms & Conditions
Version of 6 September 2026. These Terms govern the sale of hosting and infrastructure plans through thebillboys.pl.
1. Who you are contracting with
The seller of the services offered on this website is THE BILL BOYS spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością (a limited liability company under Polish law), with its registered office at ul. Borówkowa 8, 58-500 Jelenia Góra, Poland, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register (KRS) kept by the Sąd Rejonowy dla Wrocławia-Fabrycznej we Wrocławiu, IX Wydział Gospodarczy Krajowego Rejestru Sądowego, under number KRS 0001203795; tax identification number NIP 6112846426; statistical number REGON 543167389; share capital 5 000,00 zł. Contact: hello@thebillboys.pl. In these Terms we are “The Bill Boys”, “we” or “us”.
Payments are processed by our payment service provider, which acts as merchant of record for the transaction: it collects the payment, calculates and remits the applicable VAT or sales tax for your location and issues the payment receipt. Your contract for the service itself — its scope, quality and provisioning — is with The Bill Boys.
2. What is sold
We sell infrastructure services for a fixed term of twelve months, paid once in advance: web hosting, managed WordPress hosting, content delivery, virtual and dedicated servers, managed Kubernetes, private cloud pools, object storage and backup, and add-ons to these plans (together, the “Services”). Each plan page states the resources included. Resources are limits, not guarantees of a particular application's performance; we will tell you if your usage approaches a limit and discuss options before any change.
3. Ordering and conclusion of the contract
- You add plans and add-ons to the cart, enter your details on our checkout page and are redirected to the payment provider's secure page to choose a payment method.
- The contract is concluded when the payment provider confirms the payment. You are then shown your personal order page, whose address is permanent and serves as confirmation of the order.
- Prices are shown in euro and include VAT. The payment page may present the amount in your local currency; any currency conversion is performed by the payment provider on the terms shown there.
- We may refuse or cancel an order in the event of an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, unavailable hardware or an intended use that breaches section 6; any amount already paid is refunded in full.
4. Provisioning and term
We provision the Services and send access details to the email address given at checkout within 24 hours of payment on working days (Monday to Friday, excluding Polish public holidays). Plans that require dedicated hardware may take up to three working days. The twelve-month term starts on the day access details are sent. The Services do not renew automatically: about one month before the end of the term we send a renewal offer, and without a new order the Services end and data is kept for 30 days before deletion.
5. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
If you buy as a consumer (or as a sole trader for a purpose not related to your professional activity, where Polish law extends consumer protection), you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. By ticking the consent box at checkout you expressly request that we start providing the Services before the end of the withdrawal period. If you withdraw after provisioning has begun, you pay for the part of the Services provided until your withdrawal, in proportion to the price (art. 35 of the Polish Consumer Rights Act, implementing Directive 2011/83/EU); the remainder is refunded within 14 days. Until provisioning starts, withdrawal gives a full refund. The provisioning & refund policy describes the procedure and contains a model form.
6. Acceptable use
The Services may not be used to send unsolicited bulk email, host malware, phishing pages or material that infringes third-party rights, attack other systems, or evade sanctions or export controls. You are responsible for the content and software you place on the Services and for keeping your own access details secret. We may suspend a Service that is being used in breach of this section or that endangers other customers, after notice where practicable, and terminate the contract for a serious or repeated breach.
7. Our obligations, availability and support
We operate the underlying infrastructure with reasonable care: redundant power and network, monitoring, security updates for the managed layers stated on each plan page, and backups where the plan includes them. We aim for continuous availability; planned maintenance is announced by email at least 48 hours in advance where possible. Support requests go to hello@thebillboys.pl and are answered within one working day. You remain responsible for your applications, their updates and your own copies of important data.
8. Conformity, complaints and liability
The Services must conform to their description. If they do not, write to hello@thebillboys.pl; we respond within 14 days and repair, replace or refund as appropriate. Our liability towards business customers is limited to the price paid for the twelve-month term of the Service concerned and excludes lost profit and indirect loss, except for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.
9. Personal data and your customers' data
We process your data as described in the Privacy notice. Billing details are collected on our checkout page and passed to the payment provider so that the payment can be processed and the correct tax applied. For personal data that you store on the Services we act as processor on your behalf; a data-processing agreement under art. 28 GDPR is available on request.
10. Dispute resolution
Polish law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. Consumers may use the EU online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) or the Polish out-of-court bodies listed by the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK). Disputes with business customers are settled by the court competent for our registered office.
11. Changes
We may amend these Terms for future orders. The version in force at the time of your order applies to that order.
